Kitty Crafts - Crochet 102: Intermediate

  • El Gato Coffeehouse 508 Pecore Street, Suite A Houston, TX, 77009 United States (map)

Come have a crafternoon surrounded by cats making cat toys! In Crochet 102: Intermediate, you will learn how to create crochet ball. You will create your own ball for your kitty to play with.

This will be a 1 and a half hour class where you will build on the skills learned in Crochet 101. The class will end with a crochet ball project that will reinforce the skills that you learned in the class. Once the class is over, you should have the skills to tackle any intermediate crochet projects.

All craft materials will be supplied and instructions provided. Excess cat toys will be donated to the Houston Humane Society to help with enrichment for the shelter cats. Spend an afternoon learning new skills and making new friends both furry and human!

When this class is complete you will have learned:

  • how to create a slip knot
  • the chain stitch

  • how to read a crochet pattern
